The Half-Lit House

The Half-Lit House
the adults have gone
Spooky Building

They got in their cars and left. They took vacations they never planned. Quick errands turned into long ones, and long ones ended up in a hotel two states over. The whole town woke up humming, got up, and got out.

And they all forgot their kids.

A Door to Somewhere Else

Amy always wanted to be special, but today everyone woke up special but her. Mia blew bubbles that talked. Halei made people who shouldn't be real. Wesley could fly, and it seemed like all Kate's wishes were coming true. Amy was left out again, except maybe, way in the back of her head, a little flame waited to be fed…

Hands of Gold is an adventure spanning age-lost history to uncover a plot from beyond the world, set in the place where all lines meet. Join Amy, her friends, enemies, and time-lost companions as they explore a dangerous new world and maybe, just maybe, change everything forever.

Since it will be awhile before I have time for short stories again, here's a link to one of my old ones: Elision, or "what happens when your brother breaks out of jail to get the band back together."

Today I spent some time outlining a simple plot involving fallen angels and club kids. Maybe this will be enough fun to fully put down, we'll see.

Another morning spent working out plotlines on Amy Stories. I think I have the main threads identified. Now I have to start figuring out how to weave it together in an interesting way.

It feels weird not to have a firm word count goal. Right now I'm mostly just dreaming up fragments of plotlines and jotting them down in hopes I'll be able to stitch together something interesting later. I mean, it worked before?

Today I spent a bit of time plotting on Amy Stories. I know the structure of the story, I know what is happening to the main character and the world. Now it is time to fill in details.
